Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed at Adult Care Depot (“we,” “us,” “our”).

1) Where we ship

  • We currently ship to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states) only.
  • We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally at this time.
  • PO Boxes are supported only where the selected carrier offers PO Box delivery.

2) Order processing time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
  • Processing time is separate from transit time.
  • Orders placed on weekends/holidays begin processing the next business day.

3) Shipping methods & delivery timeframes

Shipping options and estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout. Estimated delivery time is calculated as:

Processing time + carrier transit time = estimated delivery date

Typical carrier transit times after shipment (may vary by destination and carrier):

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping (if available): 2–3 business days
  • Overnight (if available): 1 business day

Important: Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by weather, carrier delays, peak seasons, or other events outside our control.

4) Shipping costs

  • We do not offer free shipping at this time.
  • Shipping fees are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.
  • Shipping cost is based on factors such as order weight, package dimensions, destination, and the shipping method selected.

5) Order tracking

  • When your order ships, we will send a shipping confirmation with tracking information (when available).
  • Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update after the label is created.

6) Address accuracy & undeliverable packages

  • Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
  • If a package is returned to us as undeliverable (e.g., incorrect address, refused delivery), we may issue a refund minus shipping/return fees once the item is received back, or we can reship the order at the customer’s expense.

7) Shipping restrictions

  • We do not ship to freight forwarders or reshippers where prohibited or where fraud risk is identified.
  • Some items may have shipping limitations based on carrier rules or destination.

8) Damaged, missing, or lost packages

If your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or appears lost:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery (for damage/missing items) or within 7 days of the last tracking update (for suspected loss).
  • Please include your order number and photos of the package/item damage (if applicable).
    We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on the situation and carrier outcome.

9) Returns & refunds (shipping-related)

  • If you return an order, original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective item, etc.).
